Sewing machines donated by Project S.A.V.E. help women in Liberia better their lives
Students at a School for Rescued Women in Freetown, Liberia, and the Mt. Barclay Christian School, learn sewing (with machines we sent), and hair styling as a means to change their lives and enable them to make a living. Many of the sewing machines were converted from electric to foot-pedal power by the wonderful and handy volunteers at Project S.A.V.E. As you see in the photos, they desperately need a medical clinic in Liberia.
