42 Wells and Counting...
Dear Janice,
I am in Tanzania and things are going well. We are drilling our 42nd well. I met with the District Commissioner and he wanted to send you his thanks. The Doctor was out of the District and I hope to see him next week. Everyone is looking forward to getting the container. The vocational school student are plastering the exterior of the clinic. It is about 4 weeks behind my schedule but I think it will be ready.
This is not my field of knowledge but from talking to people in Kilolo I sense that the number of people who need medical help is great. I believe that many people will be helped by the contents of the container.
This was a hard but good day. Our truck got stopped by the police for not having the latest insurance sticker. The fine was $150. But we completed a well at a primary school and started another. The young Tanzanian boys and girls work so hard and I am very proud of them. It is an inspiration to see them work. I am thinking of you and send my best wishes to you and David.
