Supplies head to Good Samaritan's Clinic in Nairobi, Kenya
We had a great day today shipping to the Good Samaritan's Clinic in Nairobi, Kenya. Jacob Kliebe, missionary to Kenya, came yesterday with a trailer and van full of items to add to the shipment. He was a great help in getting "his" container off to Kenya. He and Noelle will leave on the 20th of January for Nairobi, so will be living there when it arrives.
Many thanks to all the men from Calvary Chapel who so joyfully joined with us to pack the shipment. You guys are great! As always a special thanks to Mike Harper of California Safe Co., who so faithfully brings his fork lift to help with our heavy items. I am so humbled by the people who gave of their time, strength & finances to make this possible.
The funds for this shipment were donated by individuals at Calvary Chapel, Chico. Thank you for your generous hearts! To our donors of supplies, again, we say thanks. Please know you are making a huge difference in the lives of many in impoverished nations.
We were thrilled to have Tom Wilder, a professor from Chico State and Martin McLean, president of SIFE council at the university help us for the morning. They are looking into making a "project" for the SIFE group -- helping to reorganize our main unit for optimal space utilization, and designing new sorting methods! I am excited to see the changes their expertise will bring to Project SAVE. Thanks again!
